The smell of fresh baked waffles is one of the best smells I know. I’m a real morning person. I doesn’t matter at what time I sleep, I’m awake before 8.30 am. My boyfriend is absolutely not a morning person. But I found a good way to get him out of bed. I bake something nice and leave the door to the first floor open. The smell of fresh baked waffles or pancakes makes that he gets out of bed. This sounds so sweet of me, but it’s kinda sneaky. I want him to come out of bed so we can do nice things togheter..

I have a long list of things that I want to have, but that are not necessarily. A heart shape waffle maker is one of those things. I have a normal waffle iron, but I wanted a heart shape. Yeah, I know, I’m demanding. Maybe it’s best if I don’t tell you about the rest at the list 🙂

I really love thrift shops and flae markets. You can find so much stuff that is really expensive or not available in the regular store. Perfect for photos! I believe that this waffle iron was waiting for me. It was hidden between a toaster and a coffee maker. I wasn’t looking for it, but when I walked by I saw the beautiful waffle iron and my heart jumped. For 4 euros (4,5 dollar) it was mine. Can you believe that? And it works! I’m a very happy girl!
